Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of psychotherapy which uses eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to assist clients in reprocessing distressing memories or beliefs. It was first developed for the use of post-traumatic stress disorder, though it is now commonly used with a variety of issues that continue to challenge you emotionally.
