For over six months, attending Jill’s counseling sessions became more than just a required component of my treatment. They were true self-discovery journeys, never tedious, always inspiring. Every week, as the clock approached the top of the hour, I would sincerely look forward to the next meeting.
I was first introduced to Jill Bershad in 2005 when we had some family issues that needed some attention. She was very helpful and understanding to the needs of my family. I can honestly say that she moved us in the right direction and contributed to our issues being more manageable.
I was very relieved to be referred to Jill by my attorney. I was very concerned that if I used one of the DUI school’s recommended therapists, that a “cookie cutter” plan would be forced upon me. I was very pleased to find that Jill did the opposite, she listened to my story and worked a plan that was specific to me. And, she did so in a fair and non judgmental way in an environment that was completely private.
I am so grateful to have found Jill. I needed to find someone to help my teenager through a difficult time. Jill provided a safe place for my daughter to examine her feelings and process events. Jill also worked with my daughter on handling difficult situations. My daughter has now gone off to college with a new set of skills to help her be successful in what ever she chooses to do.
From the moment I met Jill, I could tell that counseling is far more than just a job for her, it's her passion. She loves to see her clients reach the point they can really thrive and is ready to be their rock along that journey. She won't do it for you, but she will work her hardest to help you get there.
